Fun and learning combine at free event in King County

Looking for a fun and educational activity for your family this Saturday, Sept. 17? And added bonus—it’s free!

Children’s Home Society of Washington is hosting its annual Roll & Read event at two family resource centers in King County from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families with children of all ages are welcome!

You and your family can travel through Seattle’s Lake City or downtown Kent and participate in reading activities during a guided walk. Special characters such as Cat in the Hat, Waldo, Pete the Cat and other literary friends will make appearances along the way. We are also holding a raffle for prizes!

Walks begin every 15 minutes at the North Seattle Family Resource Center and the South King County Family Resource Center in Kent. You can walk, push a stroller or pull a wagon.

We want to thank our supporters for helping with this event!
